As a symbol, the scarab represents transformation and the way our lives grow and who we become. What differentiates these designs is the process in which they are made. Although both the scarab and the process have been around for centuries, their paths have never met until now. The molds used to make these pieces of art were the bodies of native North Carolina scarabs themselves. Each is unique and not duplicable.

We are very proud of having taken a symbol, like the scarab, that has been used in jewelry for thousands of years and using it in a whole new way. But, what we are most proud of is being able to give back to the community through art. These pieces are truly one-of-one and are wearable art that will last for thousands of years to come. All the proceeds from these pieces will benefit the North Carolina Museum of Art.

Check out our Facebook page for more pictures!
Check out our Facebook page for more pictures!

It’s a gorgeous 9.71 ct concave faceted tourmaline set in a hand engraved platinum & 18k yellow gold mounting, featuring .49 ct of natural yellow diamonds, all designed and made in house. It’s something different than we’ve ever done and we’re very proud of it. We’ve won a few in the past and we’re hoping to win big this year :)

Check out our Facebook page for more pictures!

The stone is a rare concave faceted yellow green sapphire. We set in a William Travis original partial bezel platinum & 18k yellow gold shank.
I hollowed the pearls by hand and put a little of the ashes in each before capping them. They were made for a mother and daughter. They wanted them to stylistically go together but not be matchy-matchy. The pearls are natural tahitian. The smaller pendant is accented with a green sapphire in the top, and the larger one with a black diamond. Wearing these will keep their beloved pet forever close to their hearts.

It was custom cut by Richard Homer. It was teal blue with a little cognac in the center and had a true color change from natural light to incandescent. We accented the stone with green sapphires on the side, 18k yellow gold & platinum. It's one of those stones you hate to sell because you know you'll never find another one. At least it went to a couple who appreciates the stone as much as I do.
